Encorus Group is growing, and we’re looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong network in the commercial and industrial markets to help drive the continued expansion of our private sector work. We're looking for someone who knows where the next project is, is already involved in the right conversations and able to position Encorus as the go-to partner early in the decision-making process.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our presence across critical industries such as
manufacturing, power generation, chemical processing, data centers, and
more—creating and developing real, revenue-generating opportunities from the ground
up.

As a client-facing strategic partner, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor, using your technical
expertise and relationship-building skills to position Encorus Group as the preferred
provider for complex engineering design solutions. Your efforts will directly support our
expansion in the private sector and help grow our project backlog.

Responsibilities:
  • Leverage and deepen your existing private sector relationships to generate early leads and secure work ahead of RFP publication.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow Encorus Group’s private sector Design team project backlog and market presence.
  • Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with new and existing clients to support long-term business growth.
  • Become a subject matter advocate for Encorus Design Team expertise and drive targeted sales efforts.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, supporting proposal development and pursuit activities.
  • Represent Encorus Group at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional events to enhance visibility and cultivate new opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, network proactively, and pursue new business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to design tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations that effectively communicate value to prospective clients.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or engineering roles focused on private sector design and engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated success securing engineering design work through established private industry relationships, especially within manufacturing, chemical processing, power, renewable energy, or data centers.
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering, architectural, and drafting services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for client visits, meetings, and industry events.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Location: This position can be based out of any of our office locations. Remote work will be considered for the right candidate. We are also open to temporary contract or part-time arrangement.
